Let SilkPeel Help In Your Battle with Winter Skin

Let SilkPeel Help In Your Battle with Winter Skin

Dehydrated from the cold weather and all the holiday merriment? Your board-certified dermatologists in Jupiter, Florida, at Genesis Dermatology, have many ways to hydrate and brighten your skin. The newest is SilkPeel Dermalinfusion, and the results we’ve seen from this unique procedure are nothing short of amazing. It can be used to hydrate dry skin, minimize the appearance of wrinkles and large pores, treat oily or acne-prone skin and reduce sun spots or age spots.

Similar in many ways to microdermabrasion, what makes SilkPeel different is the use of water (hydrodermabrasion) in conjunction with a diamond tip wand instead of the harsher crystal, which leaves the skin feeling silky, clear, and refreshed. The procedure gently exfoliates and suctions away the dead, outer layer of the skin, stimulating collagen production to foster the growth of new, healthy cells.

Another notable difference from microdermabrasion is that SilkPeel allows us to employ various treatment serums which are targeted to specific skin conditions. These specially formulated serums, comprising vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, are infused deeply into the skin where they will produce the most effective, long-lasting results.

The final difference from microdermabrasion is that this safe, comfortable skin treatment is non-invasive and requires no downtime, and is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive skin, because each treatment is customized for your particular skin type. Unlike the typical discomfort of other types of skin peels, SilkPeel is painless and even relaxing, similar to a deep-tissue massage.

We start with a deep cleansing of the skin, and then apply the SilkPeel tool. The handpiece is gently applied over the area being treated, with patients experiencing a mild tightening sensation of the skin.  Depending on the location and area of the body being treated, the typical SilkPeel treatment will take approximately 30 minutes. It can also be performed in conjunction with or alternating with other cosmetic treatments. Talk to us for details about which other procedures may be compatible with the SilkPeel procedure.

We recommend a series of four SilkPeel treatments over a four-to-six-week period, depending on your needs. However, you can expect to see glowing, healthy results immediately after your very first session.

We’re so enthusiastic about this exciting new process that for a limited time, until February 28th, we’re offering a series of four treatments for $750!

So be sure to take advantage of this special introductory offer, and schedule an appointment with us today! Your winter-sad skin will thank you!
